Glow and Firmness for Dry, Dehydrated Skin with Inactive Eczema
I have been so lucky to test Dermalogica BioLumin-C Serum 30ml😍 I have been using it for almost 3 weeks, about 2-3 times a week, and my dry and dehydrated skin with inactive eczema tolerated it well. Fortunately, it does not trigger eczema. I use the serum in the morning after cleansing and always follow up with sunscreen. The skin feels firmer and gets a nice glow after application, and I like that the serum has a slightly thick consistency that glides easily into the skin. A small downside for me is that the serum contains fragrance and smells like orange. I prefer fragrance-free products, as I have previously experienced that eczema is triggered by fragrance (which has not happened with this one). The product is described as a highly concentrated serum that works with the skin’s natural defenses, gives glow, firmness, and a more even skin tone, and combines ultra-stable vitamin C with peptides and cell-renewing AHA. For me, it works as promised; the skin looks fresher and more radiant. Unfortunately, the price level is quite steep, so I will not be buying it on my own right now, but if the price were a bit lower, I would definitely consider having the serum as a regular part of my routine. I have been so lucky to receive Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant 13😍 I have been using the product for almost 3 weeks now, 2-3 times a week, and I am really satisfied! I have dry and dehydrated skin with inactive eczema, so I have to be careful with exfoliation. The powder is mixed with a little water and rubbed between the hands until it becomes a light foaming paste, which I then massage onto my face in circular motions (for about 1 minute) before rinsing thoroughly with lukewarm water. I use it on clean skin in the evening, right after cleansing with Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel, and my skin feels super soft and smooth, while my eczema does not get irritated. A small downside is that you have to mix the powder with water yourself, which makes the skincare routine a bit longer. But the upside of this is that it lasts longer in use. The product description states that the rice-based enzyme powder micro-exfoliates the skin effectively, while the botanical complex contributes to a more even skin tone over time. I agree, and I think my makeup looks much nicer the day after I have used the exfoliation. All in all: a mild but effective exfoliant! I have been lucky enough to test Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel 250 ml😍 I have been using it every evening for about 14 days now, so I have a good impression of how it works on my skin. This is a soap-free gel cleanser designed to remove dirt and impurities without drying out the skin. I start by applying a little product to wet hands and work it up lightly before massaging it into a damp face for just over a minute. Then I rinse off with lukewarm/warm water. Although it is described as a foaming gel, I find it becomes more creamy than foamy when massaged in. For me, that’s fine—even though I prefer a more foamy texture. It still feels very pleasant and mild on the skin. I have dry and dehydrated skin with inactive eczema, and this cleanser works well for me. It cleanses the skin effectively without irritating or triggering the eczema, which is very important for my skin type. After cleansing, the skin still feels a bit tight, which is not unusual for my skin type, so I need to apply a good hydrating product fairly quickly afterward. The product is also very economical to use, and you only need a small amount each time. Therefore, I think the price is good considering how long the bottle will last. The only small downside for me is the scent. I prefer fragrance-free skincare products, and this one has a scent I’m personally not so fond of. A convenient sun protection to have in your bag for quick application. As a Lyko test pilot, I have had the opportunity to use this product for a few weeks and I am positively surprised. I have previously not used sun sticks much except for my lips, and am more used to using liquid sun protection for the face. I have mainly used this product on my lips and for touch-ups on sensitive areas of the face where I often burn. The product melts into the skin and is easy to apply. I am impressed by this sunscreen's light formula and how it absorbed into the skin. For a few weeks, I've had the honor of testing this product as Lyko's test pilot and so far, I'm impressed! I have previously used La Roche-Posay Invisible Fluid and liked that facial sunscreen, but this new serum formula actually tops it. This facial sunscreen delivers on its promise of a lightweight and moisturizing feel on the skin. Something that suits me and my facial routine. I have never been fond of Solstick, they have always been sticky and a disappointment when used over/under makeup, for example. But this... so simple and so perfect! I love this product! I'm generally skeptical about tinted sunscreens and day creams, but this one...!? Wow! It leaves no residue, melts perfectly into the skin, and is invisible yet slightly covering at the same time! Showing a picture of how it looks before I’ve applied it – completely invisible but still gives a nice and natural impression. Works just as well without day cream or used as a day cream! If you like sweeter scents and are looking for a fragrance suitable for winter/evening use, this is a winner for you! I've always liked Valentino's fragrances, and my go-to has been Born in Roma Donna (original). So this new release arrived at the right place and got good use! The scent definitely has vanilla and plum. I also found out that its heart notes are osmanthus and leather. So it's a somewhat deeper fragrance, which I think suits evening or winter well. Of course, I've also worn it during the day if I felt like it. The scent lasts well, and for me, a sign of a quality fragrance is this scenario: I sprayed it in the morning and only went to work out in the evening. When sweating, the perfume scent rises again even though I no longer smelled it on myself in the afternoon. This situation also happened with this perfume! 👏🏼 The perfume bottle is beautiful and practical, typical for Valentino's Born in Roma line. I have tested Born in Roma Purple Melancholia Eau de Parfum for about four weeks, and it is a scent that truly makes an impression. I’ve been #lykotestpilot for #valentino Purple Melancholia for a few weeks now! My all-time favorite perfume is otherwise Valentino’s Green Stravaganza, I’m very fond of jasmine. So it was really fun to try a new Valentino! And let’s put it this way. If Green Stravaganza is the perfect everyday perfume, then Purple Melancholia is the perfect weekend perfume! This one feels more feminine and floral, the vanilla stands out and gives that cozy feeling. With Green Stravaganza, many sprays were needed, but with this one 1-2 sprays are enough. And I find that this one lasts longer. I really like the perfume, but I don’t think it tops Green Stravaganza after all. I had tried them at a friend's place before, but now I got the chance to use them myself over a longer period and see the results. I have been so lucky to test this perfume from #valentino as #lykotestpilot for a few weeks now! I am a 35-year-old woman who generally really likes perfumes. My absolute favorites (at least right now) are Burberry Goddess, Marc Jacobs Absolute Perfect, Gucci Flora, and Kayali Vanilla 28. So I quite like sweet perfumes. I was sooo happy when I found out that this was exactly the one I would get to test. I have never tried a perfume from Valentino, so I was mildly very excited! I think the design of the bottle is completely unique. It looks really luxurious, I think. I especially like the leather detail! This is one of the perfumes I have that looks best on the shelf😊 My first impression of the scent was surprising, I think. It clearly smells of plum, in a good and sweet way. After a while, the scent settles and becomes more spicy and floral in a way (hard to explain😂) before the vanilla comes and calms everything down. Really a pleasant scent from start to finish! I received Valentino's new Born in Roma Donna Purple Melancholia perfume from Lyko to test. I've been testing it for about 2 weeks now. First of all, I want to praise the bottle's design! It's beautiful, and the purple hue of the perfume makes it especially striking. I also like that you can easily see how much product is left in the bottle. The scent clearly stands out from the traditional, often vanilla-based Born in Roma Donna perfumes. The top note has a strong plum, which makes the scent unique and exudes confidence. The intensity of the fragrance makes it quite seductive, and in my opinion, it suits best for evening use. Additionally, the perfume lasts long on both skin and clothes 👌 As summer approaches, I usually choose lighter scents, so this might not be my top choice for the season. The plum note wasn't my personal favorite either, but the scent develops beautifully! After about an hour, a pleasant vanilla emerges.
