SKIN TYPE: SENSITIVE
A gel-based cleanser that foams and is supposed to quickly remove makeup and dirt without being drying. MY SKIN TYPE: Sensitive Surface dry Reactive skin prone to imbalance I don’t notice a strong scent, it foams nicely, is economical, and does what it promises, except drying out the skin. At least mine. I do have sensitive and dry skin, and like with most cleansers, it becomes dry immediately after use, also with this one. However, if you apply serum and the rest of your skincare immediately after, it’s not a problem. When I wear makeup, I use this twice to be completely sure everything is gone, which it is! ✅ Positive that there is a refill ✅ No strong scent ✅ Works for my sensitive skin ✅ You really feel clean ❌ The price, it’s expensive even though you don’t need much product. If it hadn’t dried out my skin, I would have accepted that. A BioLumin-C Serum that is supposed to contribute to more radiance and a smoother skin texture. It also promises to even out skin tone by counteracting uneven pigmentation that can come from, for example, sun damage, pollution, stress, etc. Additionally, it should also help make the skin surface smoother and more elastic. MY SKIN TYPE: Sensitive Surface dry Reactive skin with a tendency to imbalance Unfortunately, my skin is not the easiest; it has become very sensitive over the past year after having been more tolerant before. That means this product is too strong for me right now. Will I get rid of it? ABSOLUTELY NOT! This will be what I use as soon as I have a stable base again, but right now my skin reacts to everything that actually makes a difference in the long run. One of the key ingredients in this is Ascorbic Acid, which is pure vitamin C, the most effective form. On more tolerant skin, it would give a clearer and faster result than other vitamin C serums that contain less effective variants. I really wanted to love this because vitamin C is an ingredient I actually miss in my routine – especially now as I approach 30 and want to work more preventively against aging. But my skin is currently sensitive and surface dry, and here I notice that this type of active vitamin C can be a bit too much, especially on dry areas like the nose. However, unlike other vitamin C serums, my skin did not react as strongly as it otherwise can, which makes me really believe that I will be able to use it in the long run. It also gave an incredible glow and sat very nicely under makeup! Is it a bad product, you might wonder? Absolutely not, this is a bottle that gives you exactly what you are looking for in a vitamin C serum, but right now it does not work for my skin. Which skin type does it suit? ✅ Suitable for: Normal skin Tolerant skin Combination skin without sensitivity Pigmentation / sun damage Those who want glow + anti-age ❌ Less suitable for those of us with: Sensitive skin Reactive skin Surface dry skin with flakes Rosacea tendencies The serum is expensive but, as I said before, has more effective ingredients than others to give a faster and clearer result, and very little product is needed when used, which means it will last a long time. As an influencer tester, I got to try this lovely body mist from Fenty Beauty, perfect to try this floral body mist for spring!😍🌸 This body mist smells of many things; it’s a blend of rose, jasmine, vanilla, as well as sandalwood, orange zest, and pink peppercorns, an exciting mix.✨ I like the packaging, it’s easy to carry, sleek, and I’m a big fan of pink. The mist is very pleasant, it creates a nice cloud.☺️ At first, I thought the scent was a bit too intense and too dominated by sandalwood, which unfortunately is a scent I have some difficulty with. The product itself is nice and practical, a huge plus when it comes to sunscreen that’s annoying to get everywhere. Also, it’s easy to carry in your bag, on trips, or at the beach. The formula is magical, it’s just the right thickness – and it applies nicely on the skin, give it a minute and you’ll forget you have sunscreen on, and you get a glow 🌟 It also doesn’t leave a white cast, and it seemed to hold up well during the days I wore it! Nice on the skin
I have had the opportunity to test Capital Soleil UV Age Daily SPF50+ 40 as a Lyko Influtester. The formula is very light and feels pleasant on the skin. Unlike many other sunscreens that can feel thick, greasy, and sticky, this one is thin and smooth without leaving an oily feeling. I have not yet been able to fully evaluate the sunscreen's effectiveness, as it hasn't been very sunny, but my first impression is very positive. I like both the formula and the packaging, and the product also gives a nice glow. It also works very well under makeup. Nice scent - cheap packaging
Got to try Fenty Beauty Hey Bouquet as #lykoinflutester. According to Fenty Beauty’s website, it’s supposed to smell like “Rose, jasmine, and vanilla flirting with sandalwood while orange zest and pink peppercorn spice things up.” I was really excited and thought it would be a perfect body mist to carry in my bag because of the bottle size. I liked the scent; it smells just right and the blend of notes makes it not too sweet. I think the sandalwood and pink peppercorn make the scent not come off as too sweet, which I like. The mist spray is very dispersed and it creates a cloud, which is lovely if you want to lightly spray a few spritzes. As mentioned, it’s a body mist, so the scent fades after about an hour in my opinion, but my friend said she could still faintly smell it after a few hours. However, the product feels a bit cheap when it comes to the packaging. For about 250 SEK, I would have wished the mist came in a glass bottle instead. Good and light on the hair
I have thin, flat, and quite dry Nordic hair. This spray feels light on the hair, which is important to me since I try to have as much volume as possible. The hair feels fresh and healthy after use, and it smells really good – fresh and floral. The spray is a light leave-in treatment that is supposed to repair, strengthen, and protect the hair's bonds – that is, the very structure of the hair. I like that it contains, among other things, amino acids and chia peptides that are supposed to help build up the hair from the inside. Extra plus that it also provides heat protection, which helps the hair stay strong and healthy. I noticed a significant difference in how it works on clean vs. unwashed hair. On unwashed hair, it became quite sticky and difficult to comb through, which is a bit of a downside. But on freshly washed hair, I am really satisfied – it gives a smooth, healthy, and well-groomed result. I am trying to grow my hair longer, so it feels extra good to use a product that helps strengthen the hair and prevent wear. I have thin, dry, and typically Nordic hair that is not colored (but a bit naturally sun-bleached), and this product worked really well for me! On freshly washed hair, it gives a beautiful shine and the hair feels silky soft. The hair looks healthy, fresh, and shiny without feeling heavy or greasy. I was really positively surprised by how nice the result was. I also tested it on unwashed hair (day 3 without washing), and then I found the hair harder to comb and a bit more frizzy. For me, it therefore works best on clean hair. The scent is absolutely fantastic – fresh and floral. A big plus is also the nozzle: it provides an even and wide distribution of the product, which makes it very easy to use and the bottle lasts a long time. This smells absolutely wonderful, fresh (and relatively strong) scent of flowers🌸 I get compliments for smelling good when I’ve sprayed this in my hair. I also really like how it gives shine to my freshly washed hair. I have now tested this for a few weeks and can say that I am not disappointed. What I like is that it sits so nicely on the skin and under makeup, which I find very difficult when it comes to sunscreen. In my opinion, this is one of the best sunscreens on the market. You get an incredibly healthy glow from it. I really have nothing bad to say about it, except that it might smell like "sunscreen," which is very hard to avoid in a sunscreen. I had the honor as #lykoinflutester to try this “Allover Body Mist Vanilla Flowers” from Fenty Beauty and here are my honest opinions… At the first spray, I was a bit skeptical since I usually don’t like vanilla scents because I find them either too heavy or too sweet. I immediately thought it reminded me a bit of Sol de Janeiro 71 since both go in a sweet vanilla direction. The difference is that this one from Fenty feels a bit fresher and lighter, while Sol de Janeiro leans more towards a warm, gourmand profile. This one has a lighter, almost slightly powdery and soft feel, which makes it more wearable for everyday use. Therefore, I would definitely recommend this to people who, like me, can struggle with many vanilla scents!!! I’ve heard some mixed opinions about the longevity of the body mist, and personally, I think it lasts quite okay for a body mist, but you definitely need to reapply a bit during the day. I’m someone who usually reapplies a few sprays during the day anyway, but I can understand that those who don’t have that habit would have liked it to last longer. The bottle is also very convenient to carry in a bag, which I like because it makes it easy to freshen up the scent anytime. Overall, I’m very positively surprised by this and think it’s a perfect everyday scent. It feels light, fresh, and easy to wear, even for those of us who usually aren’t drawn to vanilla scents. Poor longevity
I got to try this product from Fenty Beauty thanks to #lykoinflutester. I was really excited to get this product because I’ve heard sooooo many good things about Fenty, though it might be the cosmetics and maybe not the perfume flaws I’ve heard a lot about. The first thing that struck me was that it looks like such a cheap packaging, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone said it was from like Gekås. But I don’t want to be negative, the content is what matters! About the content then. A very floral scent, just like the notes explain in the description. It’s sweet and cute, not heavy at all! I personally love the scent. But then the scent lasted about 20 minutes after a few sprays. A body mist maybe shouldn’t have the world’s longest longevity, but that it disappears completely feels strange? Pros: + Very nice scent! + Love the spray, really a mist feeling Cons: - Quite weak scent - Disappears quickly - Cheap packaging In summary, I won’t buy this again. If it had cost 50 SEK, absolutely! But since it doesn’t last more than 10 minutes and you don’t want to reapply all the time, I unfortunately have to say no for the price. Very good scent!
I have tested this body mist from Fenty Skin in the scent Vanilla Flowers as a Lyko influencer tester, and it gives a very pleasant and soft impression. The scent is warm, sweet, and a bit creamy without being too heavy, perfect if you like vanilla but want something more subtle and fresh. I also think the scent reminds me a bit of Sol de Janeiro 59. At first spray, it can smell a bit alcoholic and strong. But that disappears quickly and turns into a softer, rounder vanilla scent once it has settled on the skin. The spray is light, which makes it easy to apply. It works well both right after showering and as a quick refresh during the day. The packaging is also sleek and convenient to carry in your bag. I was actually positively surprised by how long the scent still lasts on the skin; it lasts better than many other body mists I have tested, although of course it doesn’t quite reach the level of a perfume. I had the honor as #lykoinflutester to test the Fenty Skin Body Allover Body Mist Hey Bouquet Mini from #fenty! This is an allover body mist whose scent is described as bold floral. 💐 My first impression was that it was a cute bottle, very clean in appearance, with a transparent pink that I think matches the scent. 🩷 The amount you get I think is good for a mini, and the bottle has a nice size that makes it easy to throw in your bag on the go or travel with🛫👜 I really like the finely distributed mist that is soft and spreads well and pleasantly over the skin. 🚿 The scent itself is very concentrated and feels very strong and intense at first (almost a bit chemical 🙃). But it is sweet and floral, while also having depth thanks to notes like sandalwood. This makes it a lovely summer scent in my opinion, really vacation vibes🌺 This is a scent for those who really want to be noticed I think the mist holds very well throughout the day, and you notice how the scent changes over time; first quite strong and a bit spicier, but after a while the floral sweetness comes out more. 🌸🍭 But for me, if you use too much, it becomes just that – too much – since it is still quite heavy with sandalwood and pink peppercorn, so I am quite light-handed with this one. Usually I use perfumes and not body mists but was positively surprised how little mist you need and how well it holds throughout the day. Also, I love sweet perfumes but usually lean more towards gourmand than floral – but this was a nice change that I think will be used quite a bit this summer☀️ In summary, a sweet, floral, and summery scent but also spicy and a bit darker. Perfect timing to try this when my All Nighter just ran out. 🤩 Honestly, I think I've never come across a setting spray that makes makeup stay like a rock all day, and I can't give this a fair review on that since I've only tried it once. Good scent but a bit pricey
I’ve had the chance to try this mist from Fenty Beauty for a while, and here’s my review 🤎 ✨ PROS - Convenient packaging - Smells really good - Love how this spray works. It applies evenly and isn’t sticky. ✨ CONS - Doesn’t smell as much like vanilla as I had hoped. - A bit pricey considering the longevity isn’t the best. ✨ OVERALL THOUGHTS I love vanilla as a scent overall since it’s my go-to fragrance. I’m used to really sweet vanilla scents, but I find this one to be a different kind of vanilla. Almost a bit of a “deeper” scent with a hint of vanilla. I will keep using this, but I wished it was a bit sweeter, though that’s just my preference. Body mists generally don’t have great longevity, so after a few uses of just this mist, I’ve used my standard vanilla perfume and then topped it with this during the day to freshen up, and they blend really well. I am totally obsessed with MAC Cosmetics Lipglass Air! It gives an insanely beautiful glossy finish without feeling sticky at all, which is like the most important thing for me. The formula feels light on the lips but still moisturizing, and the color gives a perfect hint of shimmer that makes the lips look fuller. The applicator also makes it super easy to get an even result, and it lasts surprisingly well for a gloss.
