Maybelline Serum Lipstick x Smartson
002 Maybe It’s… is a neutral-warm rusty brownish red on my neutral skin tone (a bit more red than pencil 05 On It). Pink-brown in some lights. I usually like slightly cooler lips – but this one is nice anyway and will probably suit many ♥️🤎 Soft, easy-to-apply formula with a matte finish, but not as moisturizing as I expected. Creamy and opaque at first, but dries down within about an hour and highlights some dry flakes. Scent: Vanilla caramel fudge (a bit annoying scent in my opinion) but disappears quickly. Durability: Okay. After about an hour (walk + water) mostly tint remains. Needs to be reapplied several times during the day to maintain creaminess. Nice packaging, with a small minus for the square cap that only fits in 1 of 4 angles (have to search). 05 On It turns into a rusty warm shade on me with a light neutral skin tone. Maybe a bit too warm for my taste, but I will still continue to use it since you can never have too many lip products to vary between 🤎💋. Easy-to-use pencil that was simple to get even with a slightly thicker tip, a lot of product is applied at once. Quite creamy, and a matte finish. Scent: No strong noticeable scent (a plus in my opinion!) After about 5 hours of wear-testing where I both ate food and drank quite a bit of water, unfortunately a lot has disappeared. So not very long-lasting in my opinion. Completely okay, but I wished for a bit better durability. Mysterious and changing unisex that develops warmly feminine ✨
I got to try this exciting perfume from Gucci, which is #lykotestpilot for #gucci 🖤🙏. And I hope this will be the starting point to share more here again 💫 EXPECTATIONS: Exclusive, dark, and warmly feminine. With deep gourmand notes mainly of coffee and cocoa, a bit of spiciness from tonka bean, and the scent – unknown to me – of the flower wisteria ☕️🍫🪻 (Though I missed that amaretto, which is also in it, has an almond note). PACKAGING: ✔️ The bottle design feels premium and luxurious with weight. Even the cap has weight (at first hard to open, you have to really pull! 😅). SCENT: ❔☕️🍫 What surprises me at the first spray is that I don’t smell coffee and cocoa so clearly – but they lie in the background and come out more after a while. Amaretto/almond is harder for me to detect. 🍇 I think it smells more like some dark, ripe/dried fruit. Think similar to raisins/plums/figs, which get a “grown-up fullness” when dried. Maybe it’s also like how a cocoa bean smells in its fruit? 🫘 I like dark fruit – it was just a bit unexpected. 🪻 I also sense some spiciness and can guess a buttery soft flower. The whole perfume gives an interesting scent I’ve never smelled before 🕵🏻♀️ FEMININE / MASCULINE: Feminine? Yes, but starts unisex in my opinion. Powerful, dark, and mature fruity, but smooth and not sharp. After a few hours it becomes even softer: warm, deep, light vanilla, spicy, skin-close in a more feminine way 🍨 (not heavy or too sweet vanilla) MY SCENT BACKGROUND: 30+ who has had a signature perfume for about 10 years 😅. Typical clean-girl notes (light, airy, citrus, fruit, a bit of flower 🍊🌸). But lately I’ve been drawn to warmer scents. That’s why it felt exciting to try this! Looking for a perfume with feminine self-confidence ☄️. Maybe this perfume has a bit TOO much self-confidence for me, but I like it anyway! Hey! Has the formula changed in the last year? According to reviews here, it doesn't seem to dry out like it did when I tested it a year ago and got dried out (it contained alcohol back then). Holy grail ✨💛✨
Finally, my absolute favorite serum was in stock again, so I thought it was time for a little review. This has really been a fantastic moisturizing serum for my skin, with glycerin and centella💧💧 I didn't realize how good it was until I was without it for a while. And we (me and my skin😅) have missed it! I noticed that my skin became more unbalanced in its absence - maybe it has been a bit soothing? It definitely provides good moisture, is fragrance-free, and my slightly acne-prone skin tolerates the ingredients well.
