Popular for a reason!
I bought this mascara a while ago and now over Christmas I started using it. I had heard so much good, so it was fun to finally try it myself too. I absolutely understand why it is so popular because it is really good! 😍 Not too sticky but also not dry and crumbly, so just right. Nice packaging and good brush, or I like a bit smaller brushes so this was to my taste👍🏻 Gives good black color but I am also curious to try this mascara in brown, I think it would be suitable for everyday use. I think the lashes become long and separated, I usually like not to have too much mascara on my lashes, but it surely works well to build up with several layers if you want a more intense look. My only little problem was that when we were away on a trip over Christmas and I had used this mascara, it was a bit trickier than normal to remove the mascara. There was minimal warm water coming out of the tap in our hotel room, and you need 38+ for this to dissolve😅 So it took a while to get it off then, but otherwise here at home when I use it, it is very easy to remove it with warm water💦 (so as long as you have warm water, it works just fine😜) #lykoreview - Most helpful negativeThe post was made 3 monthsRating: 1 out of 5verified customer
Very dissatisfied :(
I had high hopes that the mascara would keep my lashes curled and pretty, but they fell down immediately… The mascara is also hard to work with as it clumps and flakes a lot. Idun’s 38 mascaras have a composition that is pretty much perfect dupes of Sensai’s 38 mascaras! So that lovely softness and clump-free quality characteristic of Sensai mascaras (and of course the 38 feature) is also found in these :) Bbian never die is a bit ‘harder’ in comparison, but that brand’s brown shades are more intense than Idun’s brown. However, this brown is really lovely and still a fairly natural and striking alternative to black, and the intensity of Idun’s mascaras is also significantly easier to control by layering compared to bbian. The only downside is the relatively limited variation in the brush selection of Idun’s mascaras; the default brush is quite large and a bit clumsy in places. Sensai mascaras have a wider selection of brush types to choose from based on different goals :) I have atopic skin as well as very sensitive/dry eyes, and Idun’s 38 mascaras cause significantly less irritation or symptoms compared to Bbian never die mascaras. #lykoreview1 product in post Trusted Brand159 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Good formula, weak volume
I have tried Idun Minerals blue waterproof mascara and I have mixed feelings. It’s really good when it comes to durability – it stays all day without flaking or smudging, which I love. But I have quite short lashes, and unfortunately, I don’t think it quite delivers there. It separates nicely and gives a natural look, but I don’t get the length or volume I need to really “open up” my eyes. The color then – it’s nice, but I’m a bit unsure about when you should actually wear blue mascara. Easy application, clump-free, natural volume, and easy to wash off💙
A really nice mascara (have previously tried the black one), love the formula and the brush. I find it very easy to apply without smudging on the skin. Separates the lashes very nicely and gives good natural volume. The blue color is not quite my color, but the formula is fantastic. Striking color, but weak finish
The shade of the mascara is indeed beautiful, a bright blue. However, the problem is that the formula is too light and doesn’t give the lashes enough structure. The lashes don’t get length or curl, but tend to stay straight and a bit “flat,” which also makes the color look paler than it should. Overall, it’s more of a light tint on the lashes than a truly striking effect. 💙 Fantastic volume and clear blue color
I really love the IDUN Minerals Mascara Vatn Volume 38°C Blue! It gives incredible volume to the lashes without clumping, and the result is both full and defined. The color is one of the best – a clear, intense blue shade that really highlights the eyes and gives a unique and slightly more “developed” look compared to regular black mascara. Perfect when you want to stand out in a stylish way! It stays well all day but is still easy to wash off with warm water, which is a big plus. Nice mascara!!
Tried this mascara from IDUN Minerals!! It applied nicely on the lashes and didn’t weigh them down at all, which keeps them lifted all day! I usually don’t use blue mascara but I’m going to try matching this with a colorful eyeshadow, I think it could be perfect 🤩 It’s very pigmented which is a plus, it almost glowed blue 💙 Overall a good mascara that works both for everyday and parties! It doesn’t clump and applies "thinly" on each lash which separates them. This blue mascara is so fun!
I’ve never tried blue mascara before but I really like this one! If you want to add something fun to your makeup routine this is definitely a great product for that! The mascara lasted the whole day and didn’t smudge at all. Beautiful long lashes 🩵
Very easy to apply, the brush separated the lashes and gives a defined result without clumps. Keeps the lashes curled and with a nice lift, incredibly beautiful volume! It is waterproof so longer durability that withstands heat and water. The shade "Blue" is very pigmented. Unfortunately not a color I use. The lashes turned out really nice: long, full, and with a shape that lasted all day. Use:
Apply the mascara at the base of the lashes first in a wiggle motion, and then apply it towards the tips of the lashes. Remove using warm water (around 38°C) that will gently detach the formula from the lashes – no need to use a makeup remover.
