My absolute favorite
As #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of trying this product from #olehenriksen ✨ No, but seriously, this has EVERYTHING!!! I am completely obsessed with it - both the scent (which is subtle but sweet, just the right amount, you know), the color, the feeling on my lips when I have it on, how soft and hydrated my lips become, and the fact that it stays glossy all the way until lunch?! Run and buy! I’ve probably never written such a short, concise, and unstructured review, but I went into this test without any major expectations, so I was completely blown away and it made a very big impression. Provides both volume and care!
As #lykoinflutester, I had the opportunity to test this mascara from #rimmel ✨ In short: I liked this mascara, and it will continue to be used frequently! The brush is good at separating the lashes, but I did get a few small clumps "on the side" when I went over the lashes a couple of times. It could be removed with one more swipe, so it was easily resolved anyway😅 I actually also like the fact that it needs to be built up to achieve a more dramatic effect, as it makes the mascara work very well for both everyday use and more special occasions. For everyday use, I've gone for 2-3 swipes with the brush, and it looked natural. A lovely boost for the skin
As #lykoinflutester, I got the chance to try these products from #lumene✨ A little background about my skin: dry, and can easily feel impure and lifeless. I have previously had acne and easily get pimples from "wrong" products. I must start by saying: the scent! 😍 Both the serum and the cream have a lovely scent with a touch of orange. Quite quickly (after a few days of use), I also felt that my skin became more plump and felt both "cleaner" and had more glow, even when I hadn't used the products. However, there is one thing that detracts from the overall experience: the products don't really work together if you use them directly after each other. If I apply the cream too close to the serum, it starts to roll off the skin instead of sinking in, which is annoying especially in the morning when I often have a bit of a time crunch. Big favorite!
As #lykoinflutester, I had the opportunity to test this product from #urbandecay 💫 A little background about my skin: relatively sensitive and prone to breakouts from new products. Also gets a bit shiny throughout the day. First impression: the mist! 😍 It is incredibly fine and even, which makes the product super easy to apply. I also find that the spray is very economical, and that the product is hard to overdose - it sinks nicely into the skin, and you can feel when it is "enough" like 😅 Overall, I think the spray lives up to its name! After a full day at work, followed by going straight to a party, my makeup held up nicely all the way until I got home late at night. ✨ I also noticed that my skin was less oily than usual during the day/evening! What I am not completely fond of, however, is the scent, which feels a bit sterile and chemical. I also wonder why the nozzle has two caps, it feels unnecessary and a bit cumbersome to handle. Smells super good
As #lykoinflutester, I got the chance to try this product from #happycrazymine #hcm 💕 A super nice mist, sweet scent but still not overwhelming. It feels fresh and lovely without taking over completely, which I really appreciate. It is also very easy to apply, and the bottle is handy and convenient - perfect to throw in your bag and take with you during the day. 🌸 The only thing I think brings down the overall impression a bit is that the scent disappears quite quickly, both from hair and skin, so you need to reapply now and then for it to smell. Fantastic scent and easy to apply
As #lykoinflutester, I got the chance to try this product from #happycrazymine #hcm 💥 A little background about my hair: I have quite a lot of hair with dense strands, which easily loses volume and can become frizzy. First impression: the scent! 😍 It is super pleasant, and the hair smells good for a long time. The spray nozzle is very good, it creates a nice spray cloud which makes the product incredibly easy to distribute evenly in the hair. When I blow-dried my hair, I felt that it gave good volume, which lasted for about two days, which I think is really good. 🙌 However, I thought that the hair had a bit of a "troublesome" texture, and it felt like the hair got greasy faster than usual. I have a bit of trouble assessing the product's heat protection as I would have needed to try it much longer, but I thought the hair felt good and not as dry and flaky as it can get if you happen to blow-dry without heat protection... 🙊 Short summary of pros and cons according to me: ✅ Smells super good ✅ Easy to distribute thanks to the nice spray cloud ✅ Gives good volume that lasts ❌ Gives a somewhat stiff/sticky feeling in the hair ❌ Hair gets greasy faster than usual In summary: A volumizing spray that impresses with both scent and durability, but which slightly detracts from the overall impression due to the texture. Nice volume but unfortunately disappears quickly
As #lykoinflutester I got the chance to try this product from #happycrazymine #hcm💥 A brief background about my hair: relatively thick hair with dense strands, easily gets frizzy and loses volume. This cream smelled really good (but not too strong!) and had a nice consistency that was easy to distribute in the hair. I found that it gave nice volume right after styling - maybe not a "wow" effect, but enough for the hair to feel more alive and full. ✨ However, I didn't like the texture my hair got when it was dry, and unfortunately, the volume (and the texture too, mind you) disappeared after just one day. Since it says on the packaging that the product should "work" even if you let your hair air dry, I tried that too, but unfortunately, I didn't notice any difference. Short summary of pros and cons according to me: ✅ Smells good ✅ Easy to apply ✅ Gives noticeable volume right away if you use a hairdryer ❌ Volume doesn't last more than a day ❌ Gave a bit of a "rough" texture in the lengths ❌ Doesn't work when hair is air-dried, despite the packaging promising it In summary: A pretty okay volume cream that delivers what it promises, but without making a big impression. New favorite!
As #lykoinflutester I have had the honor of testing this sunscreen from #beautyofjoseon✨ A little background about my skin: ⭐️ previously had a lot of problems with acne, so some pigmentation and red scars ⭐️ sensitive and dry skin that tends to get quite ”oren” and produces pimples as soon as sunscreen touches the surface basically… I already have a favorite sunscreen for the face, and that is BOJ’s Relief Sun - but this one, which is pigmented, beats it! Since I have some red scars/pigmentation from acne on my face, I used to often use sunscreen + CC cream when I went to the beach, but I can skip that now with this product, which I love! It is absolutely not as covering as a makeup product, so I might have to dab a little extra CC cream on the most visible red scars, but I generally think it covers enough and gives a nice glow. If I were to summarize some highlights with this product, it would be: 💥 I don’t get any new pimples from it! A nice blush stick!
As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of trying this blush stick from #makeupstore ✨ I really liked this blush stick, maybe especially because of the color, which is EXACTLY my color and which I always try to buy (or a similar shade) when I buy blush. The product itself is creamy, pigmented, very easy to work with, and easy to build up. It disappears / sinks into the skin after a couple of hours, but I find that all the blushes I’ve used do that. However, I don’t use any setting spray on a daily basis, so it could also be due to that 🫢 Overall, a very nice product at a good price. You don’t need MUCH at all to achieve a nice tone on the cheeks, so it’s a very economical product. A bronzer stick with a nice tone
As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of trying this bronzer stick from #makeupstore ✨ A big disclaimer is that I’m generally pretty "scared" of bronzer - I think it has to do with the fact that I have a pale skin tone with a cool undertone, which makes almost all contour look... well, it’s VERY VISIBLE, to say the least. However, I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by this bronzer stick! It is incredibly pigmented (which made me even more scared at first), but it is so creamy and blends in SO nicely with the skin that I didn’t get that feeling I usually have, that it looks like I’ve tanned my face but nothing else 🫣 In the second picture, you can see the swatch unblended at the bottom and blended just above. It held "just right" well throughout the day - neither more nor less than other cream makeup products I’ve tried so far. It’s easy to build up if you want a contour that shows a bit more, but it also works great to keep as a thin layer, it’s still visible nicely 😍1 product in post A bronzer stick with a nice tone1060 views
