Tried the new foundation from LUMENE and WOW, how beautifully it settled on the skin!! It blended in immediately and gave a blur filter🫧 I'm quite picky with foundation as I don't want it to be matte or cakey! But this one gave both hydration and glow! I didn't use it around my mouth though, as I have PD that's just healing, but it seems very gentle and kind to the skin! I really liked this foundation for a matte finish. It feels lightweight while giving an even skin tone and coverage. It was easy to apply and the foundation lasted the whole day and it was easy to apply! This is a really good foundation for you if you want an even and natural base without it feeling like a thick layer of makeup. It has just the right coverage that blurs out unevenness while still letting the skin look like skin. Unfortunately, I accidentally chose a shade that was a bit too light for me, but that doesn’t change my opinion about the formula itself. It’s incredibly light on the skin. It blends in nicely and is easy to work with, which makes it perfect even for those who aren’t so used to wearing foundation. The result is a fresh and natural finish with a nice glow. The skin gets a healthy radiance and looks more natural than made-up. Even though the color wasn’t quite right for me, I really like how smooth and pleasant it is. Good foundation for combination skin
I liked the texture; it spreads well and is long-lasting. I was a bit nervous to try a matte foundation because they usually don’t suit my combination skin. However, this one looked really beautiful and naturally covering. The result was “velvety” as promised. The only downside was that I had one dry spot where it didn’t apply well. From that, I conclude that this probably isn’t suitable for dry skin. The shade I chose (1.75) was a bit too dark, but luckily it works in the summer. Was very excited to try this and had mixed feelings. I usually use Caia's dewy drops/IT cosmetics CC cream, and this one is quite different, I think. NOTE I've only tried it once so maybe I'll like it more after trying it a few times. I have quite dry winter skin with some rosacea tendencies. I feel like it didn't sit as nicely on my skin as I wished and it's a bit too matte for my taste. But extremely good coverage as you can see in the video. I slapped on some cream bronzer and blush, so the color matching worked out pretty well. A little flow setting spray on top. Lumene foundations have been my trusted favorites, so it was nice to get to try this new one as well. I chose shade 3 thinking about summer; in winter, I might go for a lighter shade. I liked how the foundation applies, and after finishing the makeup, my face looked really radiant. It also stayed well on my face all day. The foundation’s packaging is also nicely compact – I like packaging where you can store the cap facing up. I've used this a couple of times and find that it can settle into creases and lines, especially if the skin is a bit dry. So skin prep is really key! That said, it looks really nice when properly primed, lets the skin shine through, gives a nice matte finish without being too matte! Definitely a new favorite foundation for me. In the video, I said 9 out of 10, but then changed my mind after testing the wear – it lasted really well throughout the day! It works well for everyday use when I want a bit more natural coverage – then I use very little product. And when I’m going out and want a full coverage base that lasts long, I build it up with more product! Lumene Blur Even Cover Foundation is really a good foundation if you want an even and natural base. The coverage is just right; it covers without feeling heavy or cakey on the skin. I have to admit that I chose a shade that was a bit too dark for my skin tone, but the formula itself is still fantastic. It feels light on the skin, almost like you’re wearing nothing at all, and it blends in very nicely. It’s easy to blend out, which makes it convenient to use even if you’re not super experienced with foundation. The finish gives a natural glow that looks fresh without being glittery or overdone. I've been trying this for a few days now and really liked it. I have dry skin, and because of that, many full-coverage foundations don't work for me. I have tried Lumene's foundation and have mixed feelings. What I really liked was the coverage; it evens out the skin tone in a very nice way without feeling cakey. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a perfect match for me as the color didn’t quite match my skin tone and the foundation itself is a bit too wet for my taste, it doesn’t really set. It didn’t sit optimally on my skin throughout the day. That said, I think this is a dream for someone with dry skin, as it feels moisturizing and creamy in texture. Plus: Very nice coverage. I have combination skin, and this foundation really works great for me. It gives such a nice blur effect that evens out the skin and makes pores and unevenness much less visible. At the same time, it feels very light on the skin, almost like you're not wearing anything at all. It's easy to apply and blends nicely without becoming cakey.
