    Breakouts

    My order arrived 2 days ago and it's only the second day, but my skin has already broken out and it's been burning and irritating me.

    Ok..

    I wanted to like this, and I do right after applying it BUT I feel like the skin is drier than usual the next day 😞 Is it just my skin or have others reacted like this?? I am still looking for the best moisturizing creams/skincare for +40

    Not the best

    Have used it for a longer period, but I notice it works better when you have used, for example, a toner beforehand so the skin is lightly moisturized. On completely dry skin, it can easily feel sticky and not as moisturizing.

      Hi Thea, It seems like some products have irritated your skin, so it might be a good idea to take a little break and stick to a simple and gentle routine – for example, a mild cleanser and a light, non-comedogenic moisturizer. When you want to start testing new products again, try introducing one thing at a time a couple of evenings a week, so you can see how your skin reacts. Always remember to do a small patch test first. Many find that COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream works well, but skin is different, so it’s completely normal if it didn’t suit you exactly 💌❤️

    Okay

    I have used 1.5 bottles of this snail mucin essence and liked it. The first one I used, I really liked, it felt like my skin was more hydrated and it calmed a bit. Works well together with all other skincare I've tried and also good under makeup. But now that I tried doing my skincare routine without it, I don't know if it does that much. Most likely it's because I now have a better skincare routine and more moisturizing products, that I don't see much difference and that's why it felt better before. But as it is today, I probably wouldn't buy this again since it's an extra step and I don't feel like it does much for my skin. So I'd rather skip it. I want to add that I have dry to normal skin and don't have particular problems with it except that I might get a bit red and lose a lot of moisture in my skin. So I can't say how it is for other skin types and issues. Try it if you think it seems interesting, otherwise you can probably skip it if you're already fairly happy with your skincare routine.

    Gives a nice glow to the face

    At first, I thought it felt a bit gross to have snail slime on my face, but that feeling disappeared quickly. I think it looks really nice on the skin. My skin gets a nice glow and becomes smooth and soft. I am very satisfied!
