Old faithful friend for my abused hair!

💖 I got the product for free as a #LYKOINFLUTESTER. I got to test a series of skincare products from #REDKEN, whose products from different lines have contributed for many years to saving my heavily bleached hair. Acidic Bonding Shampoo is therefore not a new acquaintance for me, but a product I have used before and still use. I can't say if the shampoo does anything so fantastically better, but the crucial thing is that the shampoo really doesn't do anything worse. It cleans so well without causing any extra wear on the hair, which feels strengthened and soft. I'm never afraid that hair strands will break, not even right after a session with my 40 vol developer. Sometimes I slack off and just use shampoo and maybe conditioner, and at those times I always use Acidic Bonding, as it makes my hair feel and look good without a bunch of extra caring products. However, I can't use it more than once a week, otherwise my hair gets a bit heavy, but that's to be expected with both panthenol and dimethicone (which care, protect, and are good for most hair and have been demonized on incorrect/overdue grounds 🤔) high up in the ingredient list. Once I finally learned how often my hair needs the shampoo, the negative effect disappeared immediately. The shampoo lathers a lot with a little product, and doesn't dry out either my hair or my sensitive, often slightly red scalp. The scent is neutral/unisex and mild, and I find that it completely washes out during rinsing. The packaging is practical and designed to be stood up and down when the product starts to run out. The colors are a hit or miss, but I love both colorful and white and sleek, so I think this grayish minimalist design is super pretty. ⭐️ After both several years of use and this testing period, I can still warmly recommend Acidic Bonding shampoo to those with very damaged hair that doesn't get weighed down too easily. However, if you have extremely thin, fine, and flat hair, you should use it in moderation, or look for another product. But for me, this shampoo is perfect, and I will continue to buy it as long as I bleach my hair 🥰

    Shamefully bad

Shamefully bad I have thin bleached, fine hair that can easily feel and seem heavy. I also have thin hair strands, which makes it difficult to find a product that provides moisture but doesn't make it greasy. This is mild to say a disaster for my hair. After shampooing, my hair felt sticky, as if the product hadn't been rinsed out well enough, but it had. (girl, I promise...) The consistency is somewhat on the thicker side, with a luxurious scent that can feel heavy for many. On the first shampoo, it doesn't lather at all, (quite normal, as product residues are present) on the second it lathers very well, and the foam becomes thick and well distributed. I use about 1-2 teaspoons on my shoulder-length hair. After one day, my hair was so greasy that you would think I was back in puberty, only worse. It was shocking what had happened, I thought this was a coincidence, but it happened again the following day. Even dry shampoo gave up on my hair... After 1 week, I lost all hope and then gave the product to a friend. On her side, it was "fantastic!". The bottle is handy, as you can utilize 99% of all content by simply turning it upside down when you get close to the end. It comes with a flip-top lid, which is practical. Good to take with you on trips, as the bottle holds 300ml. Somewhat expensive shampoo, especially if you feel a bit "duped" if it crashes for you and your hair, on the other hand, I am glad I had the opportunity to test this for free :) This will probably suit you if you have a dry scalp, as well as bleached and chemically damaged/dry hair. Maybe it's gold for you! #LYKOINFLUTESTER #REDKEN #review

Hey Dina Thank you so much for a super and honest feedback! It's nice to hear about different experiences with a product, and it seems like you got something that wasn't a match for your hair. Glad you could pass it on, and that your friend liked it Wishing you a lovely pre-Christmas season 🎄

    Top shampoo

Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo is a shampoo that impresses with its repairing effect, especially for damaged and chemically treated hair. The consistency is creamy and concentrated, meaning a small amount goes a long way. It lathers just right and feels gentle on both hair and scalp. After washing, the hair feels softer, stronger, and shinier without being weighed down. The scent is fresh and salon-like, giving a luxurious feel. One downside might be the somewhat higher price, but the results justify the investment. ★★★★ - Very good - A safe choice to recommend The product performs well and can be recommended to family and friends. A repairing shampoo that provides strength, shine, and softness

I have used this shampoo for two weeks and noticed a difference quite quickly. The texture is creamy and luxurious, and it lathers well without feeling drying. The hair feels clean but also soft after washing, which I really appreciate. After a few uses, I noticed that my hair became stronger and less frizzy. It also feels shinier and easier to detangle. I like that it doesn’t weigh the hair down despite being so nourishing. The only thing I notice is that it is quite concentrated, so you don’t need to use much. Perfect for damaged or treated hair that needs extra strength and moisture. The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the tester got to try the product for free.

    Highly recommended!

I am super satisfied with the Acidic Bonding series from Redken! It comes highly recommended if you want hair that is left smelling great, soft, and truly cared for. My hair gets oily easily, so I was a bit skeptical about how the products would work for me — but I am only positively surprised. I have medium hair strands and uncolored hair, and I notice that my hair becomes less frizzy, has fewer broken strands, and gains a more noticeable shine after use. The consistency is on the thicker side, but it lathers easily, and you only need a small amount of product, which means it lasts longer ;). However, I would still recommend using the shampoo about once a week and supplementing with another shampoo that focuses on reducing oil if you – like me – tend to have quickly oily hair. I also love the packaging. It’s easy to open and close, and the dosing is easy to control. All in all, I think price and quality go hand in hand. Very satisfied

I have been using these products for a couple of weeks now, and I am very satisfied with the results. My hair feels really clean after washing, while not becoming dry or frizzy. The shampoo lathers well and has a pleasant scent, and the conditioner makes the hair soft and easy to comb through. The leave-in treatment provides extra care and makes the hair feel stronger and more shiny. I also notice more fullness and volume, especially at the roots. All in all, my hair feels healthier and better cared for, and I will definitely continue to use these products.

    Lovely shampoo

I have had a good experience with this shampoo. It foamed moderately but still optimally, so the hair felt clean without becoming dry. It is easy to work into the hair and rinse out again. I also think it leaves the hair with a light and fresh feeling that lasts all day. Additionally, it has a really lovely scent that is not too strong but still feels luxurious. All in all, a shampoo that lives up to expectations and works well in my hair care routine. The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the test pilot tried the product for free.

    Wow

My curls have never felt better! This shampoo really cleanses deeply while also nourishing the hair from within. I notice a big difference in my hairstyle, and my curls have regained their bounce and shine. A real gamechanger for us with curly hair who need extra strength! My hair was both heat damaged and colored. Test pilot for Smartson free of charge 🩷

    Review

Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Shampoo is a product I have somewhat mixed experiences with. I like how the hair feels clean and soft after use, and it seems to strengthen the hair somewhat over time. At the same time, I’m not completely satisfied because I find that the effect doesn’t always live up to my expectations. My hair can still feel a bit dry after washing, and I miss more moisture and shine. All in all, it’s an okay product, but it might not be quite right for my hair. Shiny Hair ✨️

I had the honor of testing this product/series for Smartson. Overall, I think it’s a really good product, especially if you have damaged or colored hair like I do. Already after a short time, I could feel a difference. It makes the hair shinier without weighing it down. It’s good quality and can be warmly recommended if you have slightly dry hair that tends to break.
