I have been so lucky to test Kérastase Première, and this product really impressed me 🤍 I love the packaging, both the design and how easy it is to apply. The bottle feels exclusive and practical ✨ The product is also very economical in use, so you only need a small amount per application. Personally, I was most curious if it could calm down frizzy hair, and here I was positively surprised! 💫 I have used it about 2–3 times a week on dry hair, and it really helps against frizz. I was so lucky to test Kérastase Symbiose and share my honest opinion.🤍 First of all, I have to say that the bottle looks very luxurious and exclusive.✨ The product is supposed to help with dry scalp, dandruff, and irritation. The first time I opened the bottle, I quickly noticed the strong scent. I wouldn’t say it smells bad, but it is quite strong, the scent can feel a bit overpowering and unpleasant for some. Especially after applying it to the scalp in the evening. For me, this unfortunately became a bit uncomfortable, especially since the product is meant to be used before bedtime.😕 I have thick hair and usually neither dry scalp nor dandruff. Unfortunately, I found that the serum made my hair greasy. I normally don’t have greasy hair, but even after washing my hair the same day I applied the product, I woke up with greasy hair the next morning… I also felt that I actually started to get a bit of dandruff after using it, which was surprising. The applicator was also not entirely easy to use on the scalp, in my opinion. Even though the Symbiose range is made for sensitive, flaky, and irritated scalps, that doesn't mean it works for everyone – especially not if you don't actually have flakes or a dry scalp to begin with. Then the product can simply become "too much" for the scalp. The fact that you experienced greasier hair could be due to the serum being quite rich and meant to stay on the scalp overnight. If you have thick hair type and don't really need this kind of treatment, it can quickly feel heavy. The scent is also something that many have mixed opinions about – some love the spa-like feeling, while others find it too strong, especially when it’s supposed to be in the hair all night. Charlotte Tilbury dupe?
I have used this both with and without foundation. On bare skin, the color becomes quite natural and a bit weak, and I think it shows even less over foundation. The consistency is very light and fluid. You need quite a bit of product to get a noticeable color, as it contains small glitter particles and is not very pigmented. On the positive side, it gives a nice, glowy finish.✨ I prefer it with a brush, but I find it dries quite quickly, so you have to work fast to blend it out. If you wait too long, it can dry on the skin and become a bit patchy when you try to blend it out. It works almost as well as a highlighter, and I don’t use extra highlighter when I have this on. I think it suits best for a light everyday look, especially in summer or when you want a natural, fresh glow without too much makeup. I really like that it feels light on the skin and gives a nice glow. Pretty okay.
I've heard a lot of different things about this product, and I've now used it myself for a while so I can share my opinion. I think this is a pretty okay product for a reasonable price. There's nothing particularly special about the cream; if you have sensitive, dry, or oily skin, I would probably consider something else. I have a bit of dry skin, so this didn't meet my need for moisture, I don't feel it hydrates my skin enough, so I won't be buying it again. This product can be used for both hair and brows, it’s great for smoothing down baby hairs, tightening the hair along the sides when you have a ponytail or sleek back. It’s not too strong so it won’t make the hair stiff but still gives a tightened and natural result. I think this hair gel works really well for sleek back. It keeps the hair in place and gives a nice result, but it's smart to use small amounts so the hair doesn't get too stiff or sticky. This is perfect for those who love warm scents, especially honey scent. What makes it different from other foaming shower gels is that it actually reminds me of whipped cream. I've heard about the Waterclouds brand for a long time, and when I finally chose to try it out, I went with this type since it's for thick and anti-frizz hair.
