💥I have tested this Gloss coat from Maria Nila and wow, it delivers on its promises!! 👉My hair: Thin, a bit dry on the lengths but gets oily quickly at the roots. However, no problem with frizz so I can't say how it performs in that regard. I LOVE when I find products that give shine to my hair, because shiny hair is something I really strive for. 🧴About the packaging: Such a lovely and delightful bottle, just the appearance puts me in a good mood. The pump is perfect, just the right mist comes out and the distribution of the mist is really good! 🍎Scent: Of the three products I have tested from Maria Nila, I appreciate this scent the most. Not strong at all, just fresh and light. You can read that the scent notes are red apple, freesia, and sandalwood. Smells so good!!! ✨Result: I am always afraid that such types of products will either weigh down my hair or make it greasy, but this one does not. I can spray it on for two days after washing and it still doesn't make my hair greasier, just fresher. 😍I can, with my hand on my heart, say that this gives my hair such an incredible shine that no other product has given my hair before! LOVE! 🫣If I have to find something negative, it’s that my hair tends to get a bit flyaway if I don’t put in some mousse or other hold, but that’s not a bother. 🙏As you understand, I recommend this to almost everyone, I can't see who it wouldn't suit. Suitable for thin hair
💥I have been testing this bond builder for a few weeks now, a new product from Maria Nila! It is especially for you if you have damaged and chemically treated hair. 🙋About my hair: My hair is typically Scandinavian, somewhat thin, "smooth" and a bit dry. 👉This is said to repair, protect, and strengthen the hair from within. It should also prevent hair strands from breaking. A big advantage is that it also contains heat protection up to 230 degrees, which means you don't need a separate heat protectant! 100% vegan but contains silicones. 👍I like the design of the bottle, a mix of luxury and playfulness. However, if I have to be a bit picky, I think the pump is a bit too slow/hard. I appreciate the scent, it smells quite strong at first but fades relatively quickly. If you are sensitive to scents, it might be a bit too strong for you. 🤜I have mostly used this in damp hair, as I don't think it works as well in dry styled hair. The hair then becomes too wet and weighs down volume and curls. ✌️But using it before blow-drying works quite well for me! Since my hair completely lacks structure on its own, I really need help with volume. It gives a certain structure but still manages to maintain the softness of my hair, which I really appreciate. However, I would have wished for even more structure. The scent isn't quite for me...
💥I have tested three different products from Maria Nila in my role as #lykoinflutester. Maria Nila is one of my favorite brands when it comes to hair care, it is both Swedish, 100% vegan, and of course Cruelty free! All products are free from both sulfates and parabens. 😊Here are my thoughts on this hair perfume. 🙋About my hair: My hair is quite thin, somewhat dry at the ends but gets oily quickly at the roots. Since I am a bit afraid that hair perfumes will dry out my hair, I read thoroughly, and this one is not supposed to dry out, rather the opposite. This contains among other things: 💠Aloe Vera - Soothes the scalp and provides intense, long-lasting moisture. 💠Sunflower seed extract - Protects against harmful UV radiation and helps hair color last longer. 💠Glycerin - Preserves the hair's softness and natural shine. 👉However, one should know that this should not be seen as a treatment but only for refreshing. 👉The mist comes out in a suitable, well-distributed dose with each pump. And the bottle itself is just crazy beautiful, looks luxurious while radiating playfulness. I love the color (of the whole series) 🫣Personally, I felt that this wasn't quite for me. I think the scent is way too floral and sweet for my taste. My 14-year-old self would have become obsessed with it, and my sons who are 12 and 14 think my hair smells really good, it's easy to understand. 🥴I also feel that my hair gets a slightly greasy feel from the mist, which also lowers the rating for me. 💕I love when my hair smells freshly washed and can smell a lot, but this scent for me is not "genuine" (if you understand what I mean) and for me it feels like an unnecessary product. I have tested the Pout Preserve Hydrating Peptide Lip Treatment from Ole Henriksen. I have had this before, but back then in citrus sunshine. I actually forgot how good it is! I rarely have dry or sensitive lips, but I love to always have something on them, so there is always some lip product nearby, on the table, in my pocket, in my bag, etc.! I might be starting to get a few wrinkles around, but nothing that bothers me. The lips have probably also lost a bit of their former volume over the years, but this is also not something that bothers me (yet 😅) Below you can read about what it promises and whether I agree: 1) Should make the lips more defined and fuller. ❌Nix, I do not agree with that as I do not notice any plumping effect or that the lips would become more defined. 2) Should have a soothing, caring, and softening effect. ✅Yes, I agree with that. Feels incredibly caring and really softens my lips well! 3) Provide the lips with intense moisture. ✅Absolutely! The lips feel rehydrated for a long time. 4) Should help strengthen the skin barrier. ❓Difficult for me as a layman to answer. 5) Furthermore, this clinically promises fuller lips in just one week and also visibly smooths fine lines and helps restore natural volume over time. ❌Nope, I haven't noticed that either. Sure, the lips feel a bit fuller thanks to the nice shine, but as I said, more of a feeling. Maybe it can help over time thanks to its moisturizing ability. 🙏 Otherwise, it promises a glossy and non-sticky formula that glides easily on the lips, and I can confirm that! The shine is INCREDIBLE and not sticky at all. The taste is fantastic! ❤️ So as a Lip Gloss, I love this! Super pretty on its own, with just a lip liner and also over a lipstick. Honestly, I don't know if I've tested a more durable and lovely gloss. But as a treatment, I am more uncertain, yet it will get 4 out of 5 stars from me, and this is thanks to durability, shine, taste, and also the just right thickness of the consistency! Is it worth the price?
🥰If there's something I think you should have a little stock of at home, it's sheet masks. The skin gets an extra dose of love and a real kick for well-being. That's why I thought it was a bit extra fun to get to try this mask from Verso. 🙋My skin: - On the dry side, older, and has seen its best days, if we put it that way. So, on paper, it would fit me like a glove since it is particularly good for "dry, sensitive, mature, and tired skin" – and that's me 😉 🫴About the product: A solid mask that doesn't feel flimsy at all. You can feel that the mask is of good quality, as it is a bit "thicker" than cheap masks, and the fact that it is two-part makes the experience feel a bit more luxurious. Thanks to being two-part, it also gets a better fit. Plenty of serum. Also super easy to remove the protective film, which I appreciate a lot. A bit of a must for me if it's going to lead to a repurchase 🙏 🫰The result: Since I stored my mask in the fridge, it is really cooling. I had it on for about 40 minutes, and I felt no discomfort like tingling or anything. Very pleasant, and it stayed in place. It felt like my skin was slurping up the serum, and my skin feels soft, lovely, and hydrated afterward. 💵Is it then worth its high price? Hard to answer. Expensive but good
My last assignment as a Lyko influencer in 2025 consisted of three products from Verso. I have previously had great trust in Verso, mainly because it is a Swedish company, and what I have used from the brand before has never disappointed me. Here are my thoughts on these eye patches, but first a little about my skin around the eyes: 🫣 A whole lot of crow's feet. 😒 Rarely dark circles, but often I get bags under my eyes. (Constantly looking for a "quick fix" to achieve a fresher look in the morning) 🙂 Not particularly sensitive around the eyes. 🥴 Somewhat dry. Thoughts on the product: ✨ Regular jar with a screw lid and spatula included. ✨ Plenty of serum. ✨ Quite thick patches, initially hard to determine if you have taken double patches. ✨ A bit tricky to pry up. Usage: 💥 I store these in the fridge for a little extra oomph. 💥 Personally, I prefer to have the "thick" side facing the nose. 💥 I apply these on completely dry skin, so no skincare beforehand. (I don't want them to lose grip due to underlying skincare) 💥 Stays put like a charm, doesn't slide around at all. 💥 No tingling, itching, or other discomfort. The result: 👍 I think they give me a fresher look. 🤏 I can't completely magic away the bags, but we make good progress. 🙏 Summary: Incredibly luxurious patches that I wish I could use every morning for the rest of my life, but that's where my wallet says stop. But having really good patches at home, I think everyone should have to pamper their skin a few times a week. There is actually a difference between cheap and expensive patches, I must say, and I would recommend these any day of the week, especially to you with mature and/or sensitive skin. Hard to Evaluate
This is a bit trickier task as a Lyko influencer with these eye patches since it’s a one-time test, so I can’t unfortunately say whether these work long-term. This test fits perfectly here on New Year's Eve 🙏 A bit about my skin around the eyes: - Puffy bags but not directly dark circles under the eyes. - Somewhat sensitive skin, but not right under the eyes. - A few small wrinkles, but these don’t bother me that much yet. About the product: - The packaging is totally okay, but I would have preferred if these came in a multi-pack in a jar. - Love the shape! No need to think about whether the "tail" should be inward or outward. - Plenty of serum. - Sturdy and stays well in place. The result then? The feeling afterwards is lovely, moisturizing, but to be really honest, I don’t see any major difference. Maybe a bit less puffy. Probably you could see a nice result if you use these about 3 times a week, for 3-4 months, but then there are better and more affordable products. However, the luxurious feeling gives an inner well-being and it always feels wonderful to pamper yourself a little. I could easily buy these to give as a gift, maybe in a basket together with other products in the "treat-yourself" spirit. It's been a while since I did a nail look, but I felt it was time. A little tip for simple and discreet yet still festive nails for New Year's. Important not to skimp on the base work. I've done the following: 💅 Thorough cleaning with Depend 7days cleanser. 💅 Base coat from the same series. 💅 Two layers of "Spagetti strap" from Essie. 💅 White tips with the help of "Pure White" from Depend 7days. (This step can be skipped, I mostly thought it would give a deeper effect) 💅 Then you dab on a glitter polish, I chose silver glitter from Essie, no. 278. 💅 Then top it off with a top coat, I use Depend 7days from Depend.
