Ok, but not a wow product
I have been so lucky to test 3 different products from The Ordinary through Lyko's influtester program, this was one of them. I had quite high expectations for this since it is marketed as a more nourishing version of The Ordinary's classic moisturizer. For me, it was actually just fine, but nothing special. The cream is fragrance-free and relatively simple in the formula, which I like. It does the job of providing some moisture and feels quite basic on the skin. At the same time, I didn't experience it doing anything more than a completely normal, affordable moisturizer. It also didn't provide any noticeable improvements in skin texture or moisture balance over time. All in all, it's a perfectly fine, simple moisturizer without fragrance, but it felt quite anonymous. For me, it worked about as well as any other fragrance-free face cream. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #THEORDINARY #LYKOREVIEW1 product in post Ok, but not a wow product69 views - The post was made 4 weeksRating: 2 out of 5Verifierad testare
Not particularly impressed
I was lucky enough to test 3 different products from The Ordinary through Lyko's influtester program, this was one of them. This serum is often referred to as a kind of “filler in a bottle,” so I was very excited to try it. Unfortunately, I wasn't particularly impressed. The consistency is quite oily and can feel a bit heavy if you use too much. I personally didn't notice any plumping effect on my skin. After several weeks of use, I really didn't see any difference in volume or lines either. Additionally, I got a lot of small pimples while using it, so it was clear that it wasn't a good match for my skin. It's possible the product works better for others, but for me, it felt more like a hype trend than a product that actually delivers visible results. I probably won't buy it again. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #THEORDINARY #LYKOREVIEW1 product in post Not particularly impressed702 views - The post was made 4 weeksRating: 2 out of 5Verifierad testare
Cool idea, little result
I have been so lucky to test 3 different products from The Ordinary through Lyko's influtester program, this was one of them. This was perhaps the product I was most curious about, as the idea of a chemical peel for the lips sounds quite exciting. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. For one, the serum has a rather unpleasant taste and smell. This makes it not very pleasant to use, especially since it naturally ends up a bit on the inside of the lips throughout the day. The effect itself was also quite minimal. I didn't notice any clear difference in how soft or smooth the lips became, even after regular use. The consistency also felt a bit sticky and sat on the lips for a long time without properly absorbing. Overall, this product felt a bit unnecessary in my routine. A regular lip balm gave me about the same result, without the weird taste. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #THEORDINARY #LYKOREVIEW1 product in post Cool idea, little result78 views - The post was made 4 monthsRating: 4 out of 5Verifierad testare
Provides good moisture and a nice glow
I was so lucky to test this product through Lyko's influencer program! I was looking forward to trying the Rich Moist Soothing Serum, as I usually like light serums that provide lots of moisture without weighing me down. The first impression was positive – the consistency is light, absorbs quickly, and feels pleasant when applied. Picture number 1 is right after applying the product, giving a very nice and glowy look on its own, as you can see from the picture. Experience The serum actually provides good moisture, and I immediately liked how soft my face felt after use. For me, it was almost enough moisture on its own, without the accompanying cream from Klairs. However, I experienced after a few days that my skin started to get a few more blemishes and small pimples, which made me unsure if this was a product that suited me in the long run. My background: My skin can be a bit sensitive to certain ingredients, especially products that lay too thick a film on the skin. I quickly notice if something leads to more clogged pores or breakouts, and then it's hard to continue with the product even if it has good properties otherwise. Result: Even though the serum provides good moisture, I unfortunately experienced an increase in blemishes while using it. Because of this, I will not continue with the serum. This is probably a product that works better for skin types that can tolerate a bit more or skin types that need a little extra moisture, for extra moisture this is one of the best products I have tested! But for me, the result was a bit mediocre. #lykoinflutester #klairs #lykoreview1 product in post Provides good moisture and a nice glow285 views - The post was made 4 monthsRating: 3 out of 5Verifierad testare
Not quite the product for me
I was so lucky to test this product through Lyko's Influtester program! When I first started using the Rich Moist Soothing Cream, I expected a light, moisturizing face cream that could give my skin an extra boost – especially since it is known to be soothing and gentle. The consistency seemed promising, and it felt nice when I tested it on my skin for the first time. The cream is soft, easy to work with, and gives a nice first feeling of moisture. I especially liked that it didn’t feel heavy or greasy. However, I didn’t find that it did anything extra, and it didn’t provide noticeable results beyond regular moisture. After a few days of use, I noticed that it simply wasn’t enough for my face – especially on days when I was a bit drier than usual. My background: I have skin that is quite stable but can get periodic blemishes and tends to react to products that are too heavy or too occlusive. Therefore, I am a bit picky when it comes to face creams, and I quickly notice if something doesn’t give me what I need. Result: In the end, I ended up using the cream as a body cream instead – which it actually worked surprisingly well as! The product is easy to work with and absorbs quickly into the skin without feeling sticky afterward. It provides decent moisture, feels mild and safe, but for my face, it didn’t do enough. An okay cream, but not one I will buy again. Picture number 3 was taken right after applying the product on the arm and elbow area, this is where I ended up using the product the most. #lykoinflutester #klairs #lykoreview1 product in post Not quite the product for me1297 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Short-lived effect
I was so lucky to test out 3 different products from Mario Badescu through Lyko's Influtester program, this was 1 of them. This lip mask is soft and lovely to apply, and the scent (acai and vanilla) is sweet and pleasant – but not overwhelming. It feels nourishing in the moment, and gives a nice shine, but the long-lasting effect is not as impressive. What I liked: • The cream melts easily into the lips and feels luxurious right away. • Smells good and feels comforting to use, especially as an evening ritual. • Lips feel instantly smooth and soft. What brought it down: • The effect is short-lived – lips often feel dry again the next morning. • A bit unhygienic with jar format, especially if you apply with your fingers. • Not the best for cracks or very sore lips – more maintenance than repair. In summary: It works well as a "cozy mask" for the lips and feels good after application, but if you struggle with flaky or cracked lips, you'll need something stronger. Good, but not essential. #mariobadescu #lykoreview #lykoinflutester1 product in post Short-lived effect - The post was made 1 yearRating: 3 out of 5Verifierad testare
Decent support player, but doesn't perform miracles alone
I was lucky enough to test out 3 different products from Mario Badescu through Lyko's Influtester program, this was 1 of them. This spray is marketed as soothing and repairing – and it delivers partially. Hypochlorous acid is known for its antimicrobial properties and is supposed to calm irritation and support the skin's natural healing process. I used it both morning and night, and as needed after workouts. What I liked: • Light and refreshing mist that doesn't feel sticky on the skin. • Nice to use after extraction or with small breakouts – it can reduce redness and itch a bit. • Convenient to use as a quick “refresh” throughout the day without ruining makeup. What brought it down: • For my skin (not sensitive, but with some blemishes), I didn't notice a dramatic difference. • The spray head gives uneven distribution – sudden large sprays instead of a fine mist. • Provides no moisture on its own, so you need to follow up with serum or cream. In summary: A perfectly fine product for those who want something mild and balancing in their routine, especially for small breakouts or after shaving/exercise. But don't expect miracles – it's more of a support player than a main act in the skincare routine. #mariobadescu #lykoreview #lykoinflutester1 product in post Decent support player, but doesn't perform miracles alone1857 views- The comment was made 8 monthsMany seem to not quite understand how "moisture" works in relation to the skin. You can't just spray water on your face and think that now the skin is hydrated. It needs to be locked in with cream (occlusive) right after to create a protective barrier/membrane, so that the water doesn't evaporate (TEWL) and make things worse. Humectants are substances that attract and hold moisture. In skincare, they help to add and retain moisture in the skin, and can make the skin look softer, fuller, and healthier. They are found in many moisturizers and other skincare products with ingredients like: glycerin, hyaluronic acid/HA, and panthenol among others. So no, such a product on its own is not a miracle cure or a complete product. There is also a difference between dry skin (skin type/born with) and dehydrated skin (diet), so drink more water (if dehydrated) and use products with humectants and that are occlusive together, then you will probably see a difference... Hypochlorous Acid kills acne bacteria, it does not moisturize.4 likes

Loves more than it gives
Was so lucky to test out 3 different products from Mario Badescu through Lyko's Influtester program, this was 1 of them. This toner feels more like a hybrid product – a kind of combination of toner and light serum. It has a milky white consistency, and even though it’s called “hydrating,” it actually feels quite light on the skin. It contains PHA, which exfoliates gently without irritating, and jojoba oil that provides a light moisture boost. What I liked: • It absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves a light glow without making the skin shiny. • PHA is a safe exfoliant for those struggling with a bit of blemished skin without having sensitive skin – it doesn’t clog pores and gives a gradually more even skin tone. • Mild enough for daily use, without the skin feeling tight or irritated. What brought it down: • It does little for visible blemishes – nothing noticeable on pores, red spots, or skin texture over time. • Also doesn’t provide enough “plump” feeling to feel like a proper moisturizing toner. • The design promises more glow than it actually gives – especially if you’re not already struggling with dull skin. In summary: A nice toner for balancing the skin and adding some light care. Not a miracle product, but it works fine as a step in a routine for combination or normal skin with a bit of tendency to blemishes. #lykoinflutester #mariobadescu #lykoreview1 product in post Loves more than it gives1449 views- The comment was made 10 monthsHi Monica! Best product in the series
Was so lucky to receive 4 different products from Wella Professionals' Ultimate Smooth series to test them out. Pros: ✔️ Gives a nice shine and protects against heat ✔️ Helps reduce frizz and makes hair more manageable ✔️ Light consistency that doesn't feel too greasy Cons: ❌ Can be too heavy for fine curls – requires careful dosing ❌ Doesn't provide enough moisture on its own, should be combined with a leave-in cream ❌ The effect is temporary and disappears after a few hours Conclusion: This is a good serum if you need a «final finish» to smooth out frizz and add shine. But for really dry curls, it won't be enough on its own – you also need a moisturizing leave-in or cream. Overall rating of the series for curly, dry hair: If you have curly and dry hair, the mask will be the most useful product for you. The shampoo can be a bit too cleansing, and the conditioner isn't moisturizing enough on its own. The serum can be nice for taming frizz, but should be combined with a more nourishing styling cream. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #WellaProfessionals1 product in post Best product in the series378 views - The post was made 1 yearRating: 3 out of 5Verifierad testare
Ok hair mask
Was so lucky to receive 4 different products from Wella Professionals' Ultimate Smooth series to test them out. Pros: ✔️ Gives noticeably softer and smoother hair ✔️ Moisturizes hair more than the conditioner, and can help reduce frizz ✔️ Good for curly hair that needs extra care Cons: ❌ Requires 5-10 minutes for optimal effect, which can be impractical in a busy everyday life ❌ The result doesn't last very long – must be used regularly for lasting effect ❌ The price is high compared to how much product you have to use per wash Conclusion: Definitely the best product in the series for curly and dry hair! If you use it once a week, you'll notice that your hair feels more hydrated and less frizzy. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #WellaProfessionals1 product in post Ok hair mask176 views
