Gym look, before and after
Here you can see how my makeup looked before and after the gym. As you can probably see in my hair in the second picture, I must have sweated! The last picture is from my workout, where I trained, among other things, biceps. Proud of myself for managing both 5kg and 6kg dumbbells. I'm not quite ready for a full set with 6kg yet but can handle one round (10 reps) well. Usually do 10-12 reps three times. I trained my upper body yesterday, which is not my favorite, but I also want to get stronger in my upper body. Who doesn't love leg day? It's definitely my favorite ❤️ On my face, I have dip brow from Anastasia Beverly Hills, day cream from LYKO, concealer from NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP, blush from Kicks brand Beauty Acts, cream bronzer from Fenty Beauty, and the lip combo is from LYKO. I've found inspiration to start going to the gym again. Lifting weights is my thing. Tagging products below that I use when I just want to do a quick everyday look that doesn't take much time. I use powder from BeautyAct (Kicks' own brand) so it's not available here on Lyko but everything else is. ❤️ In the first picture, you can see my gym look. In the second picture, you can see how my face looks afterward. LYKO Their makeup brushes I find very good value. Better than Gleeze 🙈 Lyko's face cream with SPF30 works very well under makeup! Great value product!! 😍 As usual, I love the setting spray from Urban Decay. Another surprise - another solid product for everyday make up
As a make up artist i seldom use such eyeshadow sticks as a final make up product, but often use it as a make up base. When it comes to this eyeshadow stick from Make up store i actually have been pleasantly surprised and can recommend it to everyone who wants quick and easy make up, both for day and evening. I liked: - consistency and how easy to apply - colour is really nice, can be suitable for many - great for fast smoky eyes and good as a base for more complicated look - easy to blend Did not like as much: - i wish to have the same shade but without glitter/sparkle, i belive in that case its will be even more suitable for day make up or quick make up, that everyone can. Glitter is ok, but im sure not everyone will like to wear it in the office, for example. My evening routine (skincare) 🧴
Below you can see which products I’m currently using on my face in the evenings. 🎇 1. LUMENE I use their remover for waterproof eye makeup since I use waterproof mascara. I also usually use it on my eyebrows. 🩵 2. anua First, I use their deep pore cleansing oil that dissolves the makeup. Love it, just a little annoyed by the pump as it’s not so easy to control. Then I use their pore deep cleansing foam. 💚 3. Clarins I use their toner for blemished skin. It works well for me without irritating. You can see there’s not much makeup left on the cotton pad. 🌸 4. dr ceuracle my favorite serum/ampoule ❤️ 5. Beauty of Joseon eye serum. Hope it will help with my dark circles over time. 🤍 6. Dr. Althea my absolute favorite product at the moment. Their relief cream 345 works fantastic for my sensitive acne-prone skin. It calmed my skin the other day when I tried a new product that my skin didn’t like. 🙏🏼 As you can tell, several of my favorites are K-beauty. Creamy and super lasting!
I have purchased these bronzers for the test as a part of a Makeup Lyko Creator deal. It was a pleasant surprise to get all the shades, so everyone can try the closest shade for them. Now about the product and packaging: 1. Took off half of a star for the white plastic tube, just because sooner or later it’s going to get super dirty with makeup. Otherwise, packaging is nice, the lid of the tube holds strong and doesn’t seem to fall off accidentally. 2. Bronzers are super creamy, and pretty easy to apply, just start with a small amount first. 3. It’s truly lasting, I even had trouble removing it from my hand with oil after swatches. Good for summer and sweat. 4. Another half of a star I took off because generally 3 shades of this bronzer have a similar undertone. Very orange. I am the person who can generally use most of the shades due to my frequent hair color and style changes, but if you have a cool undertone, are blonde, and don’t like to have a “brick wall” on your face, the shades won’t be suitable for you. On the other hand, I’m sure there will be use for me for the lightest shade in summer, to get a bit more tanned look, so overall I like the product and its formula. Rescue operation for the skin's protective layer
Last fall, my skin suddenly started to develop unevenness and pimples, and soon my cheeks looked like acne from years ago had returned. I have previously taken an isotretinoin course, so the thought of acne returning worried me. When I stopped to think about it, I realized that I had started using a new facial cleanser in the fall. It was very foaming and contained some skin-brightening ingredients. After washing my face, my skin always felt tight, so I suspected it was too strong for my skin. Because texture also started to appear on my skin, I began adding various active ingredients, which probably only made the situation worse. I thought that exfoliating, etc., would help with the texture that had appeared. In February, I traveled to South Korea, where I had a free skin analysis. The results showed that my skin was producing oil and breaking out because it was actually too dry. According to the analysis, my skin is not prone to acne, but the impurities on my cheeks could be treated with the right skincare. This information made me happy, and I started to change my routine. I began cleansing my face first with micellar water and switched the actual cleanser to a gentle, gel-like product designed for very dry skin. I focused especially on moisturizing and repairing the skin's protective layer. The biggest change in texture happened when I started using Mediheal's moisturizing toner pads, which I often use like a mask before serum. And even though Nivea Creme is a very thick cream, it has made my skin feel and look clearly better. Of course, there are still some scars on the skin, and it has not fully recovered, as you can see in the picture. But the direction is right. Spring is in the air! Looking forward to warmer weather soon 😍🌸 I tested and used a few different products today. Some better than others! Liked all the LYKO products (which are in the picture). The lip oil doesn’t last very long but it’s nice. The skin stick in Candygasm is really pretty. 🩷🌸 Dermosil foot scrub is amazing. Cleans the feet before summer. But their face mask... gave me red spots on my face. It’s been a long time since I had such a reaction, so my skin didn’t like it. 🩵 Body lotion from Glöd Sophie Elise smells good but moisturizes just okay. Not quite enough for my drier skin, but if you have more normal skin it probably works well. 🧡 Marie-Stella-Maris body mist smells fresh. However, I prefer Sol de Janeiro even more 🙈 Love the cleansing from anua and Hickap grippy primer works really well for me. Big Lyko haul!! 😍😍🌸🥳
First, I bought a pink makeup bag and makeup brushes from LYKO, as well as a day cream with SPF 30. I already have a similar makeup bag in dark green and really like it. Then I was lucky to order the Lyko Creator set with a bunch of LYKO products for just under €20, which are worth more than €250?!? Absolutely crazy good deal 😍😍!! There are so many products that I hardly know where to start. But I’m excited about, for example, the By Lyko Skintastic Skin stick in Candygasm. I wonder if it resembles the shade Orgasm from NARS? The blue lip oil is supposed to adapt to your pH level, so I’m especially looking forward to trying that too. Then I wanted to try a conditioner spray that also has heat protection, so I ordered from LYKO. It’ll be exciting to see how it works!! 💛 I also couldn’t resist ordering the latest Lyko Lovables. Hey! I received some goodies from Make up store and decided to do a full face makeup using them. Today I’m going for a grungy yet simple look that can be worn during the day. My tips for simple makeup: - Think less variety of products, more longevity. Set cream products with powder if you want to wear them all day. - Eyeshadow sticks tend to set themselves but are often patchy or a bit transparent, use powder eyeshadows on top. - Blush is in trend but not for everyone, choose the coral shade if you’re still unsure about too much blush.
