Long-lasting and easy to use
I bought this after a recommendation for sensitive skin, and I find that it removes all traces of makeup and oil cleanser!🤧 I use it with a little water and let it foam well in my hands before I cleanse my face. It leaves my skin clean and ready for the next step in my skincare routine, but since I also have dry skin, it can sometimes feel a bit tight. Mixed Opinions
Skin type: Combination, tendency to get pimples (unclear which kind). Easily gets oily in the t-zone but at the same time dry in winter. Possibly belongs to slightly sensitive skin. It’s been a few months since I bought this cleanser after tips in a skin test and I’ve used it as step-2 cleansing almost every evening. I was looking for a replacement for my beloved Avocado Ceramide Cleanser from Glow Recipe since it unfortunately contains a bit of fragrance, which I want to avoid. And they were somewhat similar in appearance at least 💚😍 But that’s where the similarity ends. EXPERIENCE 🫧🌱 Smells soooo good (mild) of fresh mung beans, slightly earthy scent. The consistency is first firm, like a balm. But it quickly lathers up with a bit of water to a nice soft lather. Cleans very well. DRYING 😐 Unfortunately, it is drying for me. If I only use this without an oil cleanser beforehand, I suddenly start to flake?! As step-2, I can also flake. I often experience my skin as tight after this. The skin surface feels a bit stripped, which is strange since it’s marketed as a mild PH. I do not experience this cleansing as mild!! CONTAINS ALCOHOL 🙅🏻♀️ Also contains alcohol (drying ethanol?) which was not listed in the ingredient list online, but on the packaging. Although as the 14th ingredient, but in a long ingredient list. Completely surprised!
I tried this after reading about the product everywhere, but had no big expectations since my skin is super sensitive and reacts to everything and nothing. I've tried so many products against acne but nothing really gave results, so I was also quite hopeless. I've now used this for about 2 months and have to say it is absolutely fantastic! I have acne-prone, sensitive, and dry skin – a tough combo to find suitable products for without reactions. I've used the cleansing foam morning and night right from the start. I've only used mild moisturizing products without active ingredients together with this (DIVE IN toner, serum, and soothing cream from Torriden as well as Klairs soothing cream at night on top of everything from Torriden). The first week I felt my skin itched a little and got a bit warm in some areas, but I stuck it out for a while to see if my skin would get used to it. It did! I suspect in hindsight that it was partly because my skin started to purge, as I got a lot of pimples where the skin had previously itched. The purge lasted a bit more than a month, and now my skin has started to get so nice with only the occasional small invisible pimple here and there. I've struggled with acne since my teens, so it's amazing to see my face with "normal" and more even skin! My pores are usually very large and visible, but this product has cleaned them and tightened them so they are less visible. The pores are smaller than I ever thought possible, I am so grateful for this product! The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it is a bit drying. Perfect for sensitive skin
I've been using this for a while now, and I'm very satisfied. I have sensitive skin, but this doesn't irritate at all. My skin feels calm, soft, and fresh after use. The consistency is light and pleasant, and I can tell that my skin really likes it. Recommended for anyone with sensitive skin who wants a gentle and effective care. Hey! Has the formula changed in the last year? According to reviews here, it doesn't seem to dry out like it did when I tested it a year ago and got dried out (it contained alcohol back then).
