    Niactil VS Essential formula

Hi. I have used Elixir Niactil for many years and have been very satisfied with it. Now that I am out of the last tube of Elixir, I am a bit unsure whether to buy Face Formula Niactil or Essential Formula. I see that the latter contains a higher concentration of Niacinamide. Which one would you recommend?

Hi Stine 😊 Both products are good options, but they suit slightly different needs. Face Formula Niactil is the same classic you’ve already used, with 4% niacinamide. It’s soothing, moisturizing, and very gentle on the skin, especially if you want to continue with something you know works. Essential Formula contains a higher concentration of niacinamide (6%), which can give a bit more effect on, for example, pores, uneven skin tone, and radiance. At the same time, it can feel a bit more active. So if you want to play it safe and continue with something you know your skin likes, choose Niactil. If you want to try something a bit more active and get more effect, choose Essential Formula 🙏🏼 Wishing you a great day!

    Be careful!

Bought this to test on my perioral and periorbital dermatitis. Strong burning sensation and red, angry spots on my face after just a few minutes. Had to remove it immediately, but the dermatitis got even worse - and it still looks like I've been seriously sunburned/burned after a few days. Probably smart to test on a smaller area first, but this clearly doesn't work so well for everyone with dermatitis..

Hi! 💖 Thank you for sharing your experience! I'm really sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with the product, especially considering dermatitis. It's so important to be extra careful when you have sensitive skin, and it sounds like the reaction may have been too strong for your skin. It's always a good idea to test new products on a small area first, especially if you have a skin condition like dermatitis. I understand that this can be frustrating, but it's great that you reacted quickly by removing the product. I hope you find something that suits your skin better🥰
