Sometimes the skin can react with breakouts at the beginning when using a product. If you still get breakouts after a month, it sounds like unfortunately it doesn’t suit your skin. Since you usually don’t get pimples, it’s probably not purging, but that the product is a bit too rich or clogging for your skin. Some can also react to snail mucin or the combination of ingredients. My advice is to try stopping using it and let your skin calm down. Going forward, it might be better to choose lighter, oil-free serums or essences.
