Awesome makeup mirror! π€© I've wanted a makeup mirror with lighting for a long time, but most I've looked at felt either too big or too small. This one is truly PERFECT π It has plenty of mirror surface so you can see everything without it taking up an extreme amount of space. The mirror needs to be plugged into an outlet, which is good to know βΊοΈ It has several different light modes you can switch between and touch buttons. Medicube Age-R Booster Pro really makes the skincare nerd in me dance! π Here comes a thorough review for the curious π The high price made me hesitate a bit about buying it, but Iβm glad I did. What a difference it makes! The skin gets a GLOW, becomes firmer, fine lines reduce, and it feels like skincare products are absorbed more and therefore give more effect β¨ I noticed a difference immediately when I skipped using it for a while. It has several different modes: π©΅ Air Shot Mode, which is like a kind of light microneedling (but without needles, of course) 𧑠Booster Mode, which is supposed to make skincare absorb more effectively π MC Mode, which tightens the skin and helps with its elasticity as well as contours β€οΈ Derma Shot Mode, which is also supposed to improve skin elasticity but also soften tense muscles βΊοΈ All functions come in several strengths so you can adjust according to your skinβs sensitivity but also your age. There is also an accompanying app that can provide a skincare program and keep track of how long youβve used each function per day π©· A big plus is that you donβt have to use Medicubeβs products. The only thing you need to think about is the productβs consistency. It must not be too watery or thin as that can lead to irritation, and you should avoid using it together with e.g. retinol and vitamin C as it can be too harsh for the skin. Here I use, for example, one of my favorites from The Ordinary and a face cream from Phytomer. π₯° Itβs also important that it can glide over the skin, otherwise it can also become irritated. Therefore, you may need to use a little more product than usual. The skin also absorbs more and soaks up the product faster! Whether you appreciate it or not, I think depends on how interested you are in skincare. I personally see my skincare routine as self-care and donβt mind spending 5-15 extra minutes on it, but if you already think it takes too long, it might not be for you. π If youβre like me, absolutely! It also has good battery life and I need to charge it very rarely. I also prefer having to charge it rather than constantly looking for an outlet and struggling with a cord. π Itβs also easy to clean after use with a regular cotton pad. Feminine, bold and luxurious perfume π
This feels like a true power perfume. They really managed to create a sweet perfume with gourmand notes that, thanks to perfect balance, feels mature, feminine, bold, and exclusive. π The scent opens with sweet plums, flowers, and a hint of sandalwood and musk in the background. After a while, vanilla and cocoa bean come forward, giving a soft, creamy, and sensual touch. βΊοΈ It stands out from other perfumes I have with its unique scent. It takes up space without feeling too overpowering or heavy. For everyday use, itβs a perfume that radiates confidence, and as an evening perfume, itβs feminine, deep, and luxurious. π On me, the perfume has long and good longevity. I have been testing this really affordable mascara from Gleeze for a while and WOW! π€© One problem I often have with mascaras is that they smudge under the eyebrows since I have very long lashes and on top of that hooded eyes. But this one hasnβt smudged at all and stays in place all day π The brush separates the lashes really well, they get nice length, the color is intense, and itβs easy to reach everywhere. Truly a fantastic everyday mascara! π₯° It can sit a little under the eyes after a whole day, but otherwise, it hardly flakes at all. I have never experienced a mascara in this price range that DOES NOT flake, so I am very impressed π I usually most often use tubing mascara, but I notice how often Iβve started reaching for this one instead. Removes makeup and is affordable
Awesome product for its price! π Comes with a spatula so you don't have to dig in the jar with your hands. The product has a thick and firm consistency. I usually start by using it for myself, rubbing it on my face and then applying water. π It really melts away the makeup and I feel like it removes everything. I personally usually do double cleansing, but I don't think it leaves a film, so it probably works just as well on its own. β¨ The scent might be a bit plastic-like, but it doesn't bother me for a product in this price range. I have dry and somewhat sensitive skin and this feels very gentle on the skin. I don't get any reactions or pimples and it doesn't dry out, rather the opposite! βΊοΈ Haven't tested it with waterproof mascara, but with all other mascaras I've tried, it works great. Now it was time to test Gleeze Cheeky Blush, and wow what a product for just 45 kr!! π€© Swatch shades from left: Raspberry Rebel, Pink Lemonade, and last but not least Proud Peach π In the video, I used my favorite Proud Peach, but all are incredibly beautiful! π They are slightly less pigmented than more expensive Blush Sticks (or rather a bit more βsheerβ) so I need to use a bit more product than I usually do to get the result I want. But honestly, thatβs okay for this price. π The advantage of this is that they are very forgiving and easy to work with. You can choose how intense of a blush you want, and I think the color always comes out even and is easy to blend out. π₯° I usually apply the sticks directly to my face and then use a sponge. You can tell the packaging is cheap as itβs quite plastic-y, but I think choosing cheap packaging to keep the price down is more than okay! As long as the packaging does its job, which these do. π Iβm very impressed with Gleeze! Testing Gleeze Freeze Setting Spray and Grippy Primer π For the price, I have to say these are really fantastic! π€© The base becomes even, glowy, and nice β¨ You need to "spray in" the setting spray the first time you use it for the mist to become even, but then it lays perfectly βΊοΈ The primer isn't quite as "grippy" as some similar primers, but I still feel that it helps keep the makeup in place and especially that the base becomes smoother. I love lip products, so it was so fun to test all the Yummy Lip Gloss shades π₯° They all have scents based on their names and smell childishly good! π Caramel Coat, Bubble Yum, and Minty melt have glitter in them. The last two I think will be even better if you use them as a topper over another lip product (unless you already have very pigmented lips) π Caramel Coat, however, is super pretty on its own and gives the lips a slight hint of color and more life βΊοΈ Berry Bloom and Rare Raz have a solid color. Berry Bloom was a bit harder to get even, and maybe you need a lip liner, but I found both to be relatively pigmented. They have a thicker consistency that "sticks" to the lips. But in a pleasant way. Nice glow and good price
Perfect budget foundation! π₯° Easy to apply, the bottle has a good pump and you get a nice glowy finish without it being too much β¨ I usually use a sponge which works super. It has a slightly thicker consistency when it comes out of the bottle but I don't feel it at all on my skin. I don't notice at all that I have foundation on. The product is buildable so you can choose the coverage yourself, I would say you can build it up to medium coverage. βΊοΈ I have some redness, especially now during winter, which it covers well. I can sometimes have sensitive skin but I haven't noticed any reactions to this. I also suffer from dryness which I don't think the foundation emphasizes. For me, it lasts all day, I use it together with a setting powder. I have a light skin tone with warm undertones and this shade was just right for me. β€οΈ The only downside I can think of is that I need to use quite a bit of product to achieve the result I want, so I'm unsure how long-lasting it will be.
