Overrated razor
I've been using Estrid since the brand was new, and I liked the idea of subscribing to razor blades and having them sent to my mailbox. Nice design and practical case. I didn't think the razor blades were the best, but they worked OK; however, I think their updated razor blades with beige edges (previously blue) have become extremely much worse and bring the razor down a lot in rating. Additionally, the edge is incredibly thick and makes intimate shaving more difficult. I'm considering trying the narrower variant (for the face) for that purpose. The design of the handle is nice but impractical as it lacks any type of rubber, making it easy to drop the razor and accidentally cut yourself. The holder for the handle sits poorly on the wall despite cleaning, etc., before placement. My razor broke once when it fell from the wall because the holder sits really poorly. I then sent an email to Estrid and got a new kit sent home, so that was nice, but I won't risk having it on the wall ever again.1 product in post Overrated razor1786 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. Bottom Scrape
First and foremost, it is incredibly runny (even though I have shaken it several times), so much product runs out of my hand. The lather doesn't foam well either and becomes completely "flat" and uneven on the legs/body. It smells a bit minty, which in my opinion is better than any sickly sweet scent. I also absolutely do not find it soothing or moisturizing in any way, and the razor (from Estrid) does not glide well on the skin. The result is small cuts here and there and burning skin. However, it could be Estrid's updated bad blades that are the culprit, but I still think there are better shaving foams out there on the market.1 product in post Bottom Scrape2953 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. Bad update
The new razor blades with beige edges are terrible compared to the old ones that had blue edges. These tear up the skin and miss a lot of hair, so I have to shave several times before it gets smooth...
