Gave the desired effect!
Used this on my light brown hair in the summer to get a chestnut-like tone in the hair. After the first round, there wasn't much difference, more of a slight tone change that was visible if you stood in direct sunlight. After the second time, it was perfect, and after the third, it was dark brown! So I recommend testing until you're satisfied. I also recommend gloves and making sure you don't spill anywhere - it stains a lot!
