I have always hated drying my hair. My own dryer is heavy to hold and is so loud that even the cats always run away when I pull it out. It's somehow so tiring to hold a brush in one hand and a heavy dryer in the other, so I rarely dried my hair with the dryer. Now drying my hair is so different with this dryer/styler. I have long and thick hair, and with this, drying is quick and easy. Plus, my hair isn't frizzy when styled with this. And the device isn't very heavy and is at least much quieter compared to my old dryer. Great price-quality ratio, I recommend!7623 views - The post was made 5 daysRating: 2 out of 5verified customer
Not for me
The hair gets dry super fast. Even my super thick hair. But that's where the benefits of this air wand end. It makes a terribly loud noise! It whines and whistles right into my ears. It gets so hot that I burn myself on it. π« Also, the hair becomes static and loses volume β which isn't a problem for me since I naturally have a lot of volume. Maybe this suits someone with significantly longer hair than shoulder length better. But I still wouldn't recommend it to anyone. π«52 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 5 daysHi Pia π Thank you for sharing your experience β sorry to hear it didnβt work out for you. Here are some tips that might help if you want to give it one last try (and that could be good for others with similar hair): Reduce heat and airflow, choose a lower heat and speed setting, feel free to use the hair care mode that alternates between warm and cold air, and finish each section with cold air to lock in the shape and reduce static electricity. Blow-dry until about 70β80% dry, work in narrow sections, and hold the tool on the insulated parts. A light heat-protective leave-in and a bit of anti-frizz or serum in the lengths can also help with dry and static hair. Work briefly at the roots with the oval brush for volume without staying too long in the same spot, so you avoid both heat damage and volume loss. High-speed motors can be loud, so use a lower speed when possible and clean the filter regularly, which can reduce whistling noise. If the handle gets so hot that you burn yourself even on low heat, it might indicate a fault β if you suspect this, you can register a complaint via My Pages - Order History - Report a Problem, and we can help you look into it and get back to you by email π§ Thank you for your review 𧑠Take care!

Choose something else!
No no no - spend the money on another product πΈ My hair would be less frizzy if my dog scratched at it until it was dry. With the nozzle for volume, my hair got dry pretty quickly (hence a little extra cost). I've tried different products in my hair before and the result is basically the same - frizz frizz frizz πΉ1407 views - The post was made 3 months

Hi, I wonder if I can use it as a regular hair dryer? My ears can't handle loud hair dryers, and my question is: Is this one silent, or is there a hair dryer that dries hair quickly and is silent? I have Scandinavian hair that is sensitive.1294 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 3 monthsHey SΓΌmeyye ππ Yes, you can use this as a regular hair dryer π€ We don't have any completely silent hair dryers, but I would say this one is quieter than many other classic hair dryers. All the best!

Best drier for my hair!
I have fine hair and the temperature and intensity settings are great for it, leaving it soft and with volume without too much heat. And does not dry my hair out as much as other driers have done in the past!2100 views - The post was made 4 months
Curly hair?
Does this work on curly hair? I have incredibly thick hair, and corkscrew curls. I currently use a flat iron for afro hair. Light to use. And those amazing loose curls that you can style your hair with while drying. Takes up a little storage space. No bad things to say.2698 views - The post was made 7 months
Help
Hey! I'm considering buying this or the BaByliss Hydro Fusion Smooth & Shape, I'm looking for something that can dry my hair well and quickly but also do a blowout that lasts. What do you think I should choose, or do you have another alternative?ππ4796 views- The user's roll: Hairdresser at Lyko. Question
Is it cold air or warm air?5404 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 9 monthsHey Ellen π This lovely product has a bit of everything! π It uses warm air to dry and style the hair, but also has a cool air function (cool shot) to set the hairstyle. It also has an Ultra-Care mode that alternates between warm and cool air for gentler styling. Take care!

After several months of use, I am really satisfied with my purchase π lightweight, dries hair well and quickly. I like the interchangeable brush. I don't miss the old, hard, and heavy hair dryer.7288 views
